DEKIN Sports was founded two years ago, by a pair of friends and former collegiate athletes who played baseball at the professional level. It was their goal then to provide a line of sportswear of the highest quality that athletes at any level could enjoy. Today, their goal remains the same, as DEKIN continues to outfit its customers with performance sports apparel that boasts comfort, durability and performance.
Whether you’re going for a jog, pumping iron at the gym, or testing your skills in the competitive arena of team or individual sports, one thing you can count on from DEKIN Sports is an outstanding product of the highest quality to match your level of intensity and performance.
In designing our products, we drew from our experience competing at the grass-roots level, high school level, collegiate level as well as the professional level. We understand what our customers are looking for in performance apparel and possess a passion for providing custom sports apparel that works.
You’re probably wondering where we came up with the name Dekin Sports.
The word Dekin is a combination of the names of the two founders: Chris David Howell and Eric King.

Chris Howell at Tennessee
Dekin’s unique logo is a combination of the numbers seven, zero and a two . When Chris and Eric were teammates and roommates at the University of Tennessee, 702 was their dorm room number. Chris was a right handed pitcher for the Vols baseball team and Eric played at short stop.
When Chris and Eric completed their baseball playing careers, they started to build on their vision of a sports apparel store that sold premium workout gear.
With the experience of playing at the high school, college and professional level, Chris and Eric sought to provide a line of sportswear, ranging from mesh athletic shorts to premium polo shirts, of that athletes at any level could enjoy. Today, their goal remains the same, as Dekin sports continues to outfit its customers with performance sports apparel that boasts comfort, durability and performance.
