Final entries for Worst Jersey contest

Last week, we asked you to send us some pictures of the worst jersies you’ve ever seen. We started off with a Montana throwback jersey and a pic from the extinct USFL team, the Orlando Thunder.

In no particular order, here are the latest and final entries:

The triangle pattern reminds me of those honorary satchels professors wear at during graduation commencement.

Why is there a Milwaukee Brewers' logo on this HOCKEY jersey?

Yet another entry from the sport of hockey. This jersey design is so busy, I’m not even sure where to start. Let’s just hope they don’t mix MLB logos with NHL jerseys ever again.

The infamous Nike Sleave

The infamous Nike Sleeve

I must confess, I laughed pretty hard at this entry, due to my anti-UF leanings. Regardless if you’re a Gator Hater or Tim “Tearjerker” Tebow, you must admit, the sleeve was one of Nike’s worst concepts, along with EVERY SINGLE OREGON DUCKS FOOTBALL JERSEY!

Kentucky basketball "Icycle" shorts

When it comes to national championships, Kentucky is second to UCLA. Considering their rich tradition, you would be surprised by the frequent uniform design changes. The prime examples came from the mid-90’s when the Wildcats jersey designs underwent extreme makeovers each season. This entry receives bonus points, because it was submitted by a self-proclaimed, die-hard UK fan and graduate, who was courageous enough to admit that he owned a pair of these hideous shorts. UK’s athletic department must have a great PR team, because it’s virtually impossible to find a picture of the TOP part of this jersey.

We will review the entries and announce a winner, later tonight, in conjunction with our first question for SPORTS TRIVIA WEEK. Remember, the first person to submit the correct answer via comment or email wins free DEKIN performance sports apparel.
