Congratulations to Zach Taylor, who just won a free performance sports shirt. The question: Name the two FOOTBALL teams who played in the game known as the “earthquake game” after the crowd’s reaction to a game-winning touchdown registered on a seismograph machine in the university’s science department.

The answer: Auburn vs. LSU. WIn 1989, LSU trailed Auburn by a score of 6-0, late in the fourth. The reaction of the crowd was detected by a seismograph located in LSU’s Howe-Russell Geoscience Complex around 1,000 feet from the stadium.
